Boy have I ever been feeling bland this past week! Even though I've been mopey, I did manage to get a few things accomplished. I bought a new desk for school. My friend Al gave me his old desk when he moved across the country. Unfortunately, it didn't have enough room to put my note book for school as well as my keyboard, so I was always moving the keyboard around and trying to stash it on top of the monitor when I was doing my homework. Now Everything fits where it should and I have room for everything. It was only $99 - what a steal, eh? I'm going to repay myself when my student loan comes in.

Speaking of school, I've entered the panic phase I go through before every semester begins. "Do I have everything?" "Are all my supplies bought and in their places?" "Do I have enough money to get me through the first couple weeks?" "Should I get my hair cut? Nails done? New piercing?" Oy... it can be very frustrating.

Oh - it seems that the $10 referral bonus I earned at my favorite salon will be used towards a monroe piercing, since they don't do reverse perms ( which is what I was going to use the 10 bucks towards). I'm not too hellbent to have it done. Maybe in October to celebrate fall and halloween?
