Fucking awesome-o day-o! I got a call from someone interested in interviewing me for a job. Unfortunately, the job was based in Richmond and I'm not willing to travel and hour and a quarter each way for a job. Then I got to work at quarter to 5 only to find that the power had gone out a half hour before. All we could do was sit around and read magazines until the manager said he'd buy our beverages if we went over to pizza hut which, fortunately, still had their power. A group of us went over and chitty chatted for an hour or so, much fun was had. I went back to the store and sat around chatting with the gals until 7ish when the power came back on and we had to get back to work. All in all, I was paid for 4 hours when I only worked 2. Wheee! While I was working I found that one of our more difficult customers had dropped off starbucks cards for all us gals in the Photo department - score. When I got home I found that telus had sent me an offer for a free $25 Amazon.ca gift card. YAY! Now let's just hope my luck continues and I get a new job before Christmas +o)
