I've always wondered if there was a connection between the music we love (ie favorite bands/songs) and our brains. Do we love these bands and songs because of "how we're wired"?

i haven't done research, but i would be willing to bet that there's gotta be some sort of connection. there has to be some underlying motive for why we love the music we love, not just because the lyrics are good and the melodies are moving.
everything bad that happens, is for something good.
you always get something good out of it.
that doesn't help me when i'm anxious about a money order though.
