WOW! 22 happy birthdays! You all sure know how to make a girl feel super special +o)
I had a great time on my big day. Mom and Dad surprised me with a tangerine/kiwi/strawberry flan. MMM... my favorite! They also bought me some scrapbooking software but unfortunately it was for a windows-run compy rather than mac so I had to take that back, but I exchanged it for the pretty day planner I wanted to pick up. Peanut gave me a Starbucks gift card. He sure knows his momma! ,o)
Later that day we went down to Lynden, WA to check the mail box (I received a super cute Hello Kitty card from snowballinhell), and to paw our favorite antique shop. While pawing the shops Mom bought me the sweetest necklace. It's silver and has 2 stars with a ton of pick crystals in them. YAY +o)
Friday night my friend Craig, his gf Stephanie, and I went out for dinner and a movie. We saw Brokeback Mountain. I thought it was fantastic, although I wasn't expecting it to be so... reserved (for want of a better word). I thought there would be more emotional hills and valleys.
Today is a family friend's birthday and him and his wife, and my parents and I went out for breakfast. During the conversation Hanne (the family friend's wife) and Mom and I decided we'd go see Memoirs of a Giesha on Tuesday night. I'm looking forward to our girls' night out +o)
