Those who have been following me for a long time know about my work in animal rescue and my history of curing cats with FIP.
This is Damon, one of my 4 cats who had FIP. It turns out he is going through FIP again. We went to the vet when we noticed he had lost some weight and he had developed the disease again.
I don't want to post ugly pictures here, showing the fluid removed from his abdomen or how he looks now. I took a picture of how he looks without this damn disease because that's how I want to see him always. And just like we overcame it 3 years ago, we will overcome it again.
In this photo he was in the car, going to the clinic to do the tests that discharged him. I hope to be able to do it again soon.
Come on, the treatment for FIP is not yet legal here in Brazil. It consists of 84 doses of injections (at least to see how he reacts throughout the treatment) and each vial costs 35 dollars (for his weight I will use about 2 vials every 3 days). I need $2,100.00 to be able to save him. I am doing raffles, I have launched a promotion on my websites and I am doing everything I can to raise this money and be able to cure him once again.
The treatment cannot be interrupted in the middle. It is 84 consecutive days of applications and then 84 consecutive days of observation until the cure.
If everything goes well, my son will be born close to the end of the applications and we are already in a race against time because it is a disease that kills in about 2 months at most.
