Maybe you already know 'La Llorona', but if you don't, I'll introduce her to you...
Some people know her as 'The Woman in White' or the 'Midnight Woman'.
La Llorona was a young and beautiful woman, many men lusted after her, but she ended up making bad choices and was seen being abandoned by her husband, who, in addition to being an alcoholic, cheated on her and left her alone with her two children, the little ones and she were starving. and they were attacked by the man she once believed was a good man and the love of her life.
Taken by fear, loneliness, despair and depression, the young woman made a terrible decision, she drowned her children and then killed herself so that none of the three would suffer any longer.
Unfortunately, she punished herself, and can often be seen wandering or heard crying around, on the banks of places with abundant water, usually close to other children who, like her children, suffered at the hands of those who were supposed to protect them.
Now known as 'La Llorona' for her wails that can be heard in the streets, she also appears in other ways, seeking justice for these children who still suffer.
She also appears at night, beautiful as she was when young and desired to seduce bad parents on the way home, if they fall for her game of seduction, now she no longer makes the same mistake of killing the innocent, she takes to death those who cause the pain and suffering.
She was unable to rest in peace, but today, she has the strength she didn't have when she was young and helpless, and helps other women who go through the same pain as her.
