you're very acute in your observations...my suggestion to you is to apply to vote via absentee ballot -- a lot of my friends do this, and honestly, it is the only way to ensure that your vote is truly counted. I'm definitely going to do it for the upcoming election.

Cal Tech did a study on the new touch screen voting system and determined that the only system more faulty than the original chad system, especially in terms of accountability, is the new touch screen system. It leaves no paper trail and the data can easily be manipulated. Logic points out that there has just not been enough time or money to work out all of the kinks.
Please vote by absentee ballot and SPREAD THE WORD. Each one of us must act as a community organizer to bring about true change.
