I'm working on a better journal entry than this for today, but I figure I'll update. At least a little.
We're up to our butts in rain here. Well we were last night. Todays just kind of drizzly and foggy. i fell alseep with the sound of wind and rain on the roof, and it was quite cozy. It only lacked the dimension of sharing. I was woken up by my friend calling me from LA at quarter of three this morning, so I yelled at her as soon as I answered the phone. I don't think she knew I was kidding because I don't know if I was. I have to call her back and apologize. It was my own damn fault. I left the ring on highest, and set the phone on the bedside table right next to my head. that wasn't the smartest thing I ever di. It was pretty much just asking for her to call me. She's a former East Coast girl who always forgets the time difference.
So I'm reading From Here to Eternity now. It's one of the books from the library book sale. All I knew about it was the famous scene from the movie with the couple rolling in the sand. the book, however, is quite different. I highly recomend it. It's not at all the book you might think it is. Maybe that's why I think it's so great. Who knows.
I can't decide on either a story or questions for today. What do y'all think?
