Okay so I just learned it's pretty much pointless to buck fate and try to make the best of things. After the disasters of this week, the plan was to say the hell with it and end it on a good note. But my friend's flight was cancelled halfway and she got stuck in cincinati, her only option to lay over in Atlanta and fly back to LA on Saturday. With no refund because it was stand by. My friend Chris lost the rear end in his truck and me, well I decided the hell with this shit. I'm just gonna stay drunk and see what the next disaster is going to be.
I tell you historically this is always a bad week in my life.
Incidently I don't know if I'm more angry at myself for being angry at this whole chain of events this week, or if I'm angry because I can't let this stuff just roll off my back anymore. Afterall there's no heartbreak, no tragedy, it's just been a continuous string of stupid events and disapointments. maybe that's what bothers me. There's nothing to rail against, nothing to direct my irritation at except the month of April which has been screwing with me since '99.
I really just wanted to see my friend, that's all.

Um...isn't "Hud" based on a novel by "Mr. Lonesome Dove", Larry McMurtry?? Man, I LOVE that movie. I watch Paul Newman in that film and turn to molten liquid. Oh, baby!
