I need a journal entry for today. Well not so much need as as want. Since there is a difference between need and want. The problem is I don't really know if I have anything either a) important enough to write down, or b) interesting enought to write down.

So with nothing smart or funny to say I'll fall back on the old standard of coming up with questions for folks who read my journal. It's the perfect plan. Except that I have to think of the questions.

1) What drew all you fine folks to this site (we all know what the obvious answer is, so be creative)?

I can't think of anymore questions so we'll just stick with one for right now. It's that kind of day. Maybe in a few hours I'll have a better journal entry. Right now though I have to climb on a roof and fix an air conditioner. The fun never stops around here.
librarian:
Gee, I tried to start smoking when I was a teenager in Switzerland, but I just couldn't stick with it. I don't have an addictive personality, I guess. I have one cig every few years, and that serves to remind me why I don't. I do the same thing with Dairy Queen.

I thought Paulette Goddard was NOT married to him, that it was a big scandal that they were just living together, and that it kept her from playing Scarlett O'Hara. See, gossip I can remember.

Wish I knew how to fix mechanical things--I am so envious of that skill.

I hope you're having fun up on the roof! Please don't fall off.

What brought me to SG (besides the obvious)...to learn. I love learning about other people and their lives. I've chosen a path for my life and I like to learn about others peoples paths and what it is like the walk them. People are just interesting, even the seemingly uninteresting ones.
