It was rainy and kind of cold today. I'm also in Connecticut. I find that ironically funny in light of today's set.
It's been that kind of week. Maybe there'll some entertainment this weekend.

So not too much to say today except that I learned to locate undeground sources of water with a piece of sapling. Basically like walking around with that forked stick dowsing for water. I always thought it was a myth until I learned how to do it. Well rather I was shown how it's done. The guy who showed me said either you have the...

Aaah, yes..."the voice of reason" speaks! (re. mole rats and their possible pant phobia).

Ummm, kinda sick...yeah. But nice and descriptive!

So I have this habit lately of dropping things under the desk where the computer sits. If it was just random thngs I wouldn't car. But if it's foodstuffs. If I could find where these items of food stuff land then I wouldn't care. But I can't and I find that kind of disturbing. A pretzel disapeared earlier today, which isn't so bad. However that...

Individuality is cool. My dad happens to be a macho, born-again christian. Scary, huh??
cybele:
I really like the "ritual" associated with catholicism (you know, the incense, the priestly vestments, etc.), without the dogma. Nice that your father is rather private about the whole thing. It's certainly preferable to the pushy, preachy alternative (writ: MY DAD).

Oh yeah, and thanks for showing me how to spell "whoa." smile

Yeah I know I've been quiet for the last few days. I've been pretty busy the last couple of days, and I've got a due date on a script fast approaching. Rest assured though all is relatively well in Hellbilly's world.
Of course that could change at any second.
So what have y'all been up to?

Well I hope we all had fun at story time. Quite frankly story time makes my damn hands cramp up. I think it might be artheritis. Or just that the was one long journal entry to fire off in one sitting.
So far today we had rain, wind, cold, snow, and then a lovely sunny afternoon. that's one thing I love about up here. Life...

Alright folks once again it's story time. A few words up front. One this tale has no point, no morals, and is pretty much just rambling. Two I didn't change the names to protect the innocent because it would be less funny. And they'd figure out who they are anyway. So without anymore introduction here's:

The first time I ever drove in LA

It was...

You never let your fans down. Oh to witness the traveling freak show first hand. How does one man (barely 30 no less) have so many and such fantastic stories? As always, thank you for sharing!

I'm working on a better journal entry than this for today, but I figure I'll update. At least a little.
We're up to our butts in rain here. Well we were last night. Todays just kind of drizzly and foggy. i fell alseep with the sound of wind and rain on the roof, and it was quite cozy. It only lacked the dimension of sharing....

Sorry for the lateness in my responses and getting another journal entry posted. You know being drunk every night since last Tuesday will slow a person's thinking down somewhat. Not it's time for me to pick drunken ass off the ground and clamber back on the wagon for a spell. Or at least for a week or two.
Anyway I never planned to have my...

actally left early enough and made it home within a reasonable time. whats up with you? are you still headed south? if so, stop off in DC (before i move to Little Rock) and we'll have a beer!

I'm slowly pulling myself out of the weeds here. While I won't say things are exactly looking up, I will say that they're slowly getting better. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I sure do appreciate it.
The funny thing about this week was it was a whole serious of events, that while they pissed me off royally, weren't really anything more than highy irritating....

I. Pavement-Spit On A Stranger I can't seem to stop listening to this one. It fits my life right now like a warm pair of panties-straight from the dryer.
2.Tearfully forgotten, of course. I'm a softy.
3. A Dairy Queen bathroom on I35 South (a freeway in Texas). It was a long drive, and we got to playing around, and had to find a sink to lean on. Woo boy! When we came out afterwards, a woman was waiting and gave us the meanest Southern Baptist scowl that I have ever seen (and Lord, I have seen some mean ones)

I hope your birthday was just fabulous, even more...fabulicious! I can't wait to see what you've done...pics!!! YAY!!!

Your questions...
1, Underneath it all by No Doubt. I love this song, and there's a fantasy I have that involves it. blush
2. Remember me, but laugh, and enjoy my life. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
3. Feb. in the snow, at Kokomo Speedway at 3 a.m. I was so drunk on Hot Damn...ahhh, memories.

Okay so I just learned it's pretty much pointless to buck fate and try to make the best of things. After the disasters of this week, the plan was to say the hell with it and end it on a good note. But my friend's flight was cancelled halfway and she got stuck in cincinati, her only option to lay over in Atlanta and fly...

Hey, guy! Things improved any? Just like TS Eliot said, "April is the cruelest month..." (Don't I know it...got a birthday coming up! Ack!)

Um...isn't "Hud" based on a novel by "Mr. Lonesome Dove", Larry McMurtry?? Man, I LOVE that movie. I watch Paul Newman in that film and turn to molten liquid. Oh, baby! blush

May you have a painless weekend...

PS: I'll cash in on my "virtual" 10-points now... smile
