iv'e spent the last 2 weeks working my ass off and watching snowboard videos.....
work is insane atm.. we seem to get busier and busier with every night, which means i have a nightly struggle to retain what vestige of sanity remains....
the one thing atm that seems to be keeping me going is one word that repeatedly rings in my ears.... "Canada"
the snow season kicked off there last week, which means in a years *hopefully* i will be in canada living my current dream of chasing the snow to places ive never been!!! (after i go back to falls creek next year of course
)
ive convinced my housemate to go aswell, which means i have an excitement buddy around me whenever im not working, which is great!!! only problem is he doesnt want to goto whistler (biggest resort in canada and frequently voted best mountain in north america!!) minor detail tho, seeing as all of canadas endless mountains will be bigger than the tiny falls creek im used too
its funny ive been skating around (bought a skateboard when in falls creek) revliving my glory days as a 16 yr old cruisin round havin fun.... the big differance now being that its my mode of transport (ive decided im not going to drive unless its absolutely neccessary!!! keep those greenhouse emissions down!!!) and a small consolation for the fact that i cant snowboard everywhere
anyhoo i *was* gonna post some photos from falls creek, but my friend that lent me the laptop let herself in and took it back when i was at work... the laptop has EVERY single photo i have from falls creek from about 5 of my housemates cameras photos on it too!!! *PANIC* next week
anyhoo my dear friends im off to drink more beers and get ready for day 5 of 6 at work tomorrow!! fun fun fun
PS: my esteemed uncle bob... if you were looking to sabotage the NZ Knights b4 the match they are staying at myh hotel
