Yeah it is hard to seperate ourselves and our social work value. When you get down about that it can be toxic to motivation. Than that negative mental selftalk and hearing parents criticism just spirals outta control. A fun way to cheer up is make yourself get in the bathroom, look yourself naked in the mirror and make faces and poses, than while you stand there try to take yourself seriously. It will help make you feel different than you do now. maybe not better, but it starts the change in thoughts. Just an idea.
