Life has been very unpredictable lately. My mother is very ill and things seem to be dissolving right before my eyes. Not a very good feeling.

I leave later today to go see my mum and start fixing up a room in rental house I have for myself and for her to stay at while she recovers from heart surgery. I'm dreading it... the work, dealing with her sister and brother-in-law. Even having to deal with her... she's onery now and very quick to snap at you due to her poor health. I can't really blame her I wouldn't be in the best mood either, but it's still very frustrating and it bothers me. I haven't been feeling well myself, but all of this has to be done. C'est la vie.

It's going to be a long-haul... I hope in the end it will be worth it.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. My friend's mother is in the hospital with leukemia and the whole ward is complaining about her irritability. She's nice to me, though. You just have to know how to respond and turn things around, and inject humor into the situation. Her son is having a tough time but biting his tongue.
The BW's will be back at Vixen twice this month, although I may be sitting it out due to the broken toe.

Ooh, I loved The Cult in the 80's! I didn't know they were coming to town! I'll be attending a private screening of one of my film shorts tomorrow night. I'm not playing any gigs at the moment but was asked to contribute an Attrition cover to their new CD. Pretty cool that they're casting for their own cover album, I think. Quite humble of them, even.
