Went to go see The Cult at the Fillmore in San Francisco the other night. I've always loved them. They were really good considering it was the first show of the tour, after a four year lay off. I love Ian's voice... the best voice in rock, except for maybe Chris Cornell.
The show was unusually LOUD though, and I never complain about shows being to loud. My ears were still ringing well into the next day. There was definetly damage done. Other than that and my friend blacking out before the show the night went well.
My friend Julia came with us and she had never seen them before, she loved it. The Fillmore is so cool they handed out concert posters at the door after the show. The poster is one of the best i've seen, I love it! I think I'll post a pic here soon.
