Ahhh, sleep. i finally got a decent amount of sleep last night, it feels good. probably would've stretched a bit longer if the phone hadn't rung at about 10, but no matter, i'm awake now.

yesterday was...exhausting. drove an hour to get to Reading, had a kung fu seminar that went 2.5 hours but felt about twice that long, then drove an hour home. immediately got back in the car and drove another hour to have dinner with my mom, grandmother, sister, and brother-in-law. my sister and her husband don't make it down from Connecticut very often so i take whatever opportunity i can get to see them. it was a good time, although the restaurant seemed a little snooty and the only light came from a candle on the table. i actually took out my lighter so i could read the menu. my grandmother slipped me 50 bucks as we were leaving. "So you can buy gas and come visit me." she lives closer now than before, but i still don't see her that often. feelin' guilty? you bet.

today i'll be wrapping up mixes for the cd swap. three concepts so far, so i may end up just doing two copies of each. the cover art for one is pretty much complete, the other two aren't started. this will be fun, though, i don't motivate myself to do this often enough.
