tomorrow means getting up bright and early (ok, probably just early, i doubt i'll be feeling "bright") and driving down to D.C.
ol' beardo an' kt had their baby in May, and i'll finally get to meet her. plus another friend's coming up from Richmond. it oughta be a good day.
also found out a couple weeks ago that another friend from school is going to be a father soon. it's somewhat sobering, i think. has a way of making you feel old, i guess. or, in other ways, like the clock is ticking. not so much that i'm in a rush to have a child of my own, but realizing that my contemporaries are doing just that makes me wonder what my life will hold in the next few years. there's a part of me that has always craved stability. things like this just tend to amplify that...

stability how do i miss thee, but it doesn't seem to coenside well with chasing your dreams, it's just something i'm gotta deal with, sceatchy funds oh well

Isn't that something we ALL crave? I think anytime the people you're friends with start doing "grown-up" things before you it makes you feel old. Don't worry about it though. You're only old to the pimply losers wearing the Slipknot shirts. Besides isn't there a song that says something about young at heart? If it's in a song it's GOTTA be true.
