I've been having trouble proceeding with my screenplay "Bordertown." Act I ends with Jon and Pocho arriving at the office of Zorina, the sham psychic, only to find her dead, just as her killer exits a rear window, wailing "Mis hijos," as she disappears into the desert night. Pocho recognizes the ghostly female figure with long hair and hollow eye-sockets as the legendary ghost, La Llorona, The Weeping Woman, or at least someone who looks like her.

My idea is that someone pretending to be La Llorona is killing people connected with the assassination. But who? My idea: It's the person you'd least suspect, the very person who hired Pocho to find the assassin--Eva Diaz!. Maybe Eva could plant clues, making it look like the La Llorona impersonator is the campaign manager, the woman her husband was likely having an affair with. By killing those connected with murder, Eva would be exacting vengeance on those involved in the assassination, and by pinning the murders on the campaign manager, Eva would be getting back at her for the affair.

Just a couple of ideas I'm throwing out. If anyone has any other ideas, I'm certainly open to suggestions.

As usual, I think that sounds really cool. I could actually see that as a broadway play... much better storyline than most NYC plays!

I really see it as a kick ass movie though.

Thanks for commenting about my dog.

I think it would be cool if she planted something really old dating back to when the actual person (ghost) really existed... then Pacho would have to find out where the item came from and how she got it... and he could run into some shady characters along the way.

Maybe she could kill some relatives of whoever killed her or did whatever to her to make her the weeping woman?

... I don't know... just thinking out loud. I don't know if that helps or not.

I've said it a thousand times, but I really like your writing.

OK, that makes sense. I speak a little spanish (3 years in high school and 2 years in college, but still not "fluent"), so I did understand the translation. I think that is cool.
