The New York PitchXchange is coming up in June. The PitchXchange, which stretches over a weekend, consists of classes on various aspects of the script-selling game plus pitch sessions, where attendees, for a fee, can pitch their ideas and scripts to film and TV producers. I went last year, but I'm debating whether I should go again this year. It costs a lot of money and it's big schlepp to NYU, where it's being held.
I think maybe I'll just go on Friday and pitch my new screenplay to producer and "Pitch King" Bob Kosberg, who'll be lecturing on--surprise, surprise--pitching. He read my last script and, though he passed on it, he liked my writing. Who knows? Maybe, this time, I'll have better luck.
