Update: I'm now in the top 22% of the nearly one million players in CNBC's Million Dollar Portfolio Challenge, moving up from the top 40% at the beginning of the week. Still, my portfolio's value is well behind that of the leaders, who have somehow managed to grow their initial one million dollar investment into a portfolio valued at more than two and half million. Oh well, there's still a month to go....
