Anyone else playing the CNBC Portfolio Challenge? Players get one million dollars in play money to invest in a fictional portfolio. At the end of ten weeks, the player with the most valuable portfolio wins a million dollar annuity. The contest started in March and runs through May.

So far, I'm doing ok. I'm in the top 40 percent and I've been up as much as 40 thousand dollars. The contest leaders, however, have already doubled their investment. Don't ask me how they did it. They must have have made a big bet on a small cap stock that made a large percentage move.

I guess, I'll just have to make some riskier bets. Anyone have any trading ideas?
