i'm in pain.

i've been a bit lazy since xmas & not really been out on the bike to much. a few trips in to the hills & the usual commute is all i've managed. so I decided a bit of training was required. i've been doing a bit of interval work on the commute home this week. Every 5th minute I sprint flat out for a minute (up to about 30 mph on the flat bits). I didn't feel any adverse effects until today. I got home, sat down for a bit (I know - i should have done some streching 1st!!) but when i went to get up again I found my legs wouldn't bend.
I'll appreciate it in the summer though.

I was planning to enter one of the mtb races at the Bristol Bike Fest this year but it clashes with the Download festival & that takes priority. I suppose I could enter a 24 hour race instead. I'm strangely attracted to the idea of taking part in one of those as a solo rider.
I think i must have untapped masochistic tendencies!!!!!!
