Phew! another week of work done! Proud of myself for cycling four days this week I really do feel almost back to normal energy wisefor the first time since I went down with my horrible virus almost 2 1/2 years ago I think this is the first time my glands haven't started to swell when I've gotten extremely tired, which I'm taking as a very good sign that it's finally out of my system
Right now the countdown to my move to Canada stands at 47 days! Thats 6 1/2 weeks to dispose of the rest of my belongings here & make the final decisions on what I'm taking. Thankfully my dad works for UPS & gets a nice discount on their mailing prices so I think I may be able to keep a few more of my books than I originally thought, this makes me happy!

I've already sold some of my excess cyling gear on ebay, but I still have plenty of other stuff to dispose of!
My bass & amp plus other bits of music equipment are the biggest things, My dad was seriously considering buying my car from me which would certainly remove the biggest headache I've been facing with the move.
Selling that was not something I've been looking forward to, especially as it needs a few bits of work done on it first.
I've already got my finances sorted so that I access all my bits & pieces I'll be leaving in the UK online, it's gonna be a while before all my debts here are paid off thats for sure! Who would have thought that traveling back & forth to Canada twice a year is rather expensive I think I've calculated that I've spent upwards of 12000 over the last 3 years, with all the flights & associated travel costs, plus spending money, plus postage costs of things I've sent there & phone calls & text messages & the like! At least once I've cut out those costs I should be able to make quicker progress in clearing the debts I have built up. Right now I'm kinda hoarding as much cash as I can just incase I struggle to find work straight away once I arrive in Canada.

I really can't wait to get there! Today is Marvel & I's 4th valentines day as a couple! & we have yet to spend one together. I hope this is the very last one we'll ever spend apart. I really do love her with all of my heart, I adore her, she's the closest & best friend I've ever had.
Anyone that knows me will tell you that moving across the world is the very last thing anyone would ever expect from me. I'm shy, cautious, introverted, an amazingly talented procrastinator & I generally go out of my way to AVOID stepping out of my comfort zone or taking risks.
Yet here I am, excited & totally unphased by the fact that in 6 weeks I'll be leaving everything I know behind me & starting a new life 4700miles away.
Thats all down to my wife, when I'm with her I truly feel like I can take on the world & win. She gives me SO much strength, so much love.
I'm thankful every day that she found me.
