All I can say about flying is thank goodness for the video on demand systems they have these days makes things a whoooole lot better. Being sat next to a chatty & happy person helped too. It was good to have someone to talk to from time to time, between movies. Soooo I watched Taking Woodstock which was good but not exactly an earth shattering piece of film making, than I watched District 9 which I thought was an amazing premise for a move & on the whole it did a good job, but there were a few non-specific things that just kinda let it down. It just seemed to go off into the "action" route leaving too many other unexplored & unexplained elements of the plot untouched. I'm not much of an action movie kinda guy so I'm always disapointed when films shy away from the more moral & philisophical ascpects of the story to follow the "explosions & gunfire" route instead.
Then I ate some pretty terrible airline foood which surprised me, the last few flights I've taken actually had half decent meals, it was a good job I had plenty of my own foods with me
Then I watched Up which I truly truly loved every second of. It's not often you see original, imaginitive movies made these days but when you do see one it makes you realise just how much fun movies can be, & how bad most of them are!
so 9 hours or so after take off we got to Calgary. Thankfully I didn;t have to set foot outside while I was there,


right I gotta go again finish this soon.........honest
