Thanks for the comments on my last blog.
It probably made me sound worse than I actually was, when I get down I tend to get the urge to go on a bit of a rant.
I have been having a rough time over the last week & a bit, but today I decided I wasn't gonna let it get to me any more, at least not without me putting up a fight.
So I made a plan for the day when I was in bed this morning & I stuck to it.
I got out the house to buy a few things. Then I finally stripped down, cleaned, rebuilt & re-lubed two of my bikes. That's something I should have done months ago!
I fixed the lose bit of heat shielding that had come loose & was rattling on my car.
I walked the dogs & managed to get stung by a wasp stoopid doggy deciding to stick his nose into a wasps nest. I don't think he'll be doing it again
I'm just about to go grab some food, if I can decide what I want & stick on a dvd, if I can decide what to watch (I fail at making decisions )
Tomorrow I'm heading out for my first proper mountain biking expedition since I went down with my mystery virus at the end of last year
It's gonna be raining, so I'm gonna get very very wet & very very muddy. I can't effing wait
even the pain that I know I'm gonna be feeling isn't putting me off
