For those who haven't seen my blatant whoring of myself for compliments over in silliness here's my completed wedding outfit



just gotta wait for the big day to come around now

*taps foot*
*sighs*
are we there yet??


The thing is the original plan was to be kinda was to be informal & relaxed with the whole wedding. From the clothes to the location & everything else about it. If things as happened as we hoped I'd probably already be there, with the wedding happening in a matter of a week or 2
Sadly things haven;t worked out that way & it looks like it's gonna have to wait till the end of summer now.
The problem is that I needed to feel like I was doing something to get ready for it, so I ended up using the extra time to I've found myself with to hunt for a few little things to wear.
It started when we were discussing things & Marvel suggested I'd look good in a top hat I was adamant that I'd NEVER EVER under any circumstances wear one.
So there I was 2 weeks later buying myself a top hat on ebay
Then I decided I'd at least need a smartish jacket of some sort, which turned into a whole suit when I finally found this one on sale at 75% off
I was gonna go for the nice comfy black & white skate shoes until my mother told me in no uncertain terms that that just WOULDN'T DO AT ALL!!!
So I had to buy the shoes
& then I needed the perfect shirt to go with it, which I think I found after a LOT of searching
I did decide not to pursue the waistcoat though. It would have been too many stripes

If I'd gone for the plain black suit I would have bought it for sure though

so now I find myself with a complete wedding outfit that I love
& a long wait till I get to wear it

but I know that day will come sooner rather than later
& then I'll be the happiest guy in the whole world...the whole damn universe
