The Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan gig last night was as amazing as I expected it to be.
There were a few annoying things though.
Why the hell do people go to a gig & then talk all the way through!!! I know I wasn't the only irritated by it. I heard quite a few people complaining about it after.
I taped the show only for my minidisc recorder to crash as it was saving the data. The whole lot's gone
(I still have William Elliott Whitmore's set. at least what you can hear of him over all the fucking talking)
I didn't get to meet the happy pig I was looking around but it was rather packed out & I didn't spot him.

That's a real bitch about the minidisc player. But they were taping the show, so I guess thats small consolation. I was lucky enough to be stood in a place where people weren't talking during the set. I did get some pictures on my phone, which I'm quite pleased with. Message me if you want any of them.
It was a very, very special gig though wasn't it? And I loved that they finished on 'Wedding dress' although a big part of me was hoping for 'Hit the city', even though Isobel's voice wouldn't really have worked.
