5 years old. Turning 6 in two weeks. I'll never forgive myself for driving him to be put to sleep. He got so ill so fast and apparently it wouldn't have mattered how much money I had or whatever I done. He wasn't well enough to make it. Just can't comprehend that he's not here. I have always loved my black cats--I treasure every day with my current pair, and i know the fear, joy, tears and sweet memories I know i am gathering for those empty days ahead.  I am sorry for your loss, and honor your beloved for his gift to you.

😿 I cried like a busted fire hose for weeks after mine passed in 1996, but I can say it’s a grateful heart for his short life among us that helped pull me through.

@robertbluesman it's still devastating. Even now. We have his sister here and she's keeping me busy as always but I Think about the kid daily. Definitely left a little cat shaped hole In My heart when he left ❤️
