Today I saw a speeding truck pulverize a woman pushing a shopping cart full of toddlers though a crosswalk.
It looked like a doll factory exploding.
Babies doing cartwheels in the air.
But only for a moment.....
Just a few precious, unforgettable, seconds.
Before the world turned back to normal.
Tires screeching.
The crunch of compressed metal.
Screams...Shouts.....People running to places of urgency.
The breif, dull thud of flesh colliding with asphalt.
It sounded like it was raining oversized potatoes.
Life is such a bright and sparkly thing.
