Sid got his surgery and seems to be perking up quite a bit. Turns out it was Hepatic Lipidosis after all which was my first suspicion. I have him home for the weekend on a feeding tube which he hates but will have to deal with at least for the weekend to make sure he gets everything he needs. He seems to be doing MUCH better although I am still waiting for the results of his liver biopsy to find out how much damage was done. In the meantime he is getting lots of TLC. I am thinking about having a mini-fundraising BBQ to help drum up a few bucks for his bill which stands so far at about 1200 bucks!!!
