If ever your in doubt, remember 2 things:

1) On everyone's (on SG's) behalf, we think your very attractive/funny/cool, and would easily have become your friend, clothes off or not, in half a second.

2) If your friends hate for one or more reasons the things you feel comfortable doing/being, then they aren't worth being friends. True friends will understand your madness, and come around in time.

arg, bad things happening to my favorite sg girl make wolf angry. give me the vitals and stats of the dude suing you and i'll take care of him wolfman style... grrr. as for your boy hating you, you deserve better than that. as a dude who used to be a real bastard to the girl in his life (repentant bastard by the way), he's either got to chill or you need to get him gone (uh, not to preach cause i hate it and it is prolly the last thing you need right now). and people just hate you for getting naked cause you make them all look bad enough with your clothes on!! anyway, i'm real sorry things are so bad and even though i don't know you in all reality, i will be setting aside some of my prayers to, as the native americans say, Great Spirit. hope your luck takes a turn for the better and that maybe i got a laugh or at least a smile out of you.

To make a small fortune in the publishing industry it helps if you start out with a large one haha.
Seriously though you need to put together a story board outlining your mag concept in detail and your target market you will need to go to an offset printer and print the first one yourself.
You will also need venture capital (just type in the words 'venture capital' in google and it will take you to them)
Once you have this in place you will need to see a major publisher someone like Rupert Murdocks group of companies.

Good luck and if you want more help send me an email and I'll see what I can do. Oh and see a lawyer about protecting you IP (intellectual Property) this is very important so someone can't take/steal your idea.
As far as the costs are concerned thats like asking how much it costs to buy a car, it all depends on the car you want. eg is it a local mag or nation wide publication, will it be weekly, monthly or quarterly. Will it be full colour glossy ect ect
Magazines make money in 2 ways firstly through sales and secondly through advertising. Advertisers are after market penetration, so to start off you may have to give a few away to build up a reader base by gaining interest in your target demographic.

if you want to show someone your idea, get them to sign a non-disclosure doc. Again this is to protect your IP

and from what i've heard from a close friend of mine who worked at mac for a number of years and almost on the pro team... mac has changed so much that unless you are totally pro or going to go pro and are in a place that does lots and lots of shows outside of the counter... then you are better off working your way into a union, and getting gigs that way. she's a fine artist now, paintin canvis not the baker's dozen counter hoe's. (as she puts it anyway, lol.)
