Man... kids are so hard to look after. I spent the day with my niece... and she is adorable and smart and all that... but she is also frustrating as hell! At least she sort of listens to me when I tell her to do something...

But it was actually pretty fun... we went to this farm in Milton. The escarpment up there is absolutely gorgeous... I already knew that because I do a lot of hiking in that area... but there were a lot of turkey vultures out today something big musta croaked in the green belt somewhere. So yeah, we fed goats and ran away from very scary chickens... and climbed on hay pyramids (no, I'm not too old to climb on hay pyramids) . We had a good time, but now I'm exhausted... and I still have a full shift of work to deal with (8pm-4am yay!). I passed my niece off to my mom so I could shower away the farm smell... lol. Now I'm hiding because I don't think I can keep up with her much longer.

Unfortunately, there were no chickens with no legs...

I promised my niece I'd take her back there at Hallowe'en (my FAVOURITE holiday!!!!!!!!!!) because the farmer dude was telling us all this cool stuff they have going on in the fall.

So, I guess that's my excitement for today... is it only Wednesday?!
