Krissy and I had such a great weekend.
Friday we went to Rosey Mccaffrey's to see CLASSWAR for his birthday. My husband was there, in true form, ignoring me. TheNewPope's boobs looked great.
Then we headed to Hot Pink where I saw all sorts of people I haven't seen in so long. Immediately upon entering I spotted Dibbs, Cara, and Judy. Shortly after, I ran into Dee whom I haven't seen since Sean's brother's graduation. Saw evildeathbee and her hetero life partner Elizabeth, and also sexy Evil. Met Daje, spanked Swiss_Miss, and flirted with MS. Definetly a fun night without tears. Krissy and I shared a toilet stall and when I stood up to fasten my belt it hit in her in the face and we entertained ourselves by taking this picture.
Saturday we attended a dental seminar at the Humane Society where we volunteered afterwards to clean the teeth of some of the doggies up for adoption. I won't go too much into why the seminar sucked, but I'll just say, I could have taught the damn thing.
Afterwards we sped to Krissy's to get ready for our Tucson road trip. Apparently for those who love Tucson they don't look forward to the drive there as a chore. I don't like Tucson so the drive was torture. We cheered ourselves up by pouring some Jack and Coke into a 44oz travel cup and chain smoking all the way down. Buzzed and starving we stopped at Nico's where I had heard was excellent. It was very tasty.
At the Rollerderby we drank more, hugged Suzy and wished her luck, hung out with supergp and Coliwali and Oburi who was fashionably late. Afterwards we went to Sean's Shack and drank even more, learned Fur Elise on Amory's keyboard - pissed she wasn't in town for my little visit - and saw the cutest alligator.
The drive back to Phoenix was sleep inducing until I busted out the AFI and Usher and we rocked out, chain smoked, and made it home at 3 am.
Krissy proved herself as an A+++ travel companion and extremely adaptable to meeting new people as seen above. We promised we'd do mini-roadtrips frequently and I think the next one might have to be Las Vegas as she's never been there or to California.
