Thanks to those who left suggestions for my last entry.
Jessika and Lemuria, I'll have to make a trip to the record store when I get back from Austin.
SO! I have made progress. My house is clean. The dog got a haircut (and goddamn, she looks funny).
I am, however, totally feeling sorry for myself, due to my financial state. I have totally been poor in the "American" sense of the word--eating ramen noodles and owning two changes of clothes--but right now I'm just feeling sorry for myself because I don't know how I'm going to pay next term's tuition. I might have to drop a class or something. wah wah, poor little me. Ah, well...it's certainly not the end of the world. Anyway, I am leaving for Texas tomorrow, with my dearest little friend Alley! We are going to be the most annoying people on the plane, I just know it.
I'm really excited for a few reasons:
1. I'm going to meet Alley's ma. I know I'm gonna love her.
2. I've never had an extended stay in Austin.
3. I get to see my Nana! We're going to garden, and I'd like to interview her so that I have some more writing material.
4. I'll be hanging out with my loony whino Aunt Tine and her two teeny tiny dogs.
5. It is Alley and I's one year "friendship anniversary!!!!" Whooo! FYI, we met in math class. We both had Hello Kitty accessories, it was love at first sight.
So hopefully this trip will motivate me to make some changes. I'm feeling better already.

poor in the 'american' sense that's good, and if its any consolation I have been and still remain poor in the 'canadian' sense, but have leaned a valuble lesson don't worry about it cause you'ill always get by, its human nature.
