Swoon! I watched an episode of Perry Mason today. I have never been so in love with a dead gay man before.
I found out two weeks ago that my first love and his "girlfriend" (read: woman he was fucking) are expecting a child. Thinking of him and the state I last saw him in over two years ago makes me sad. Some people will never ever change for the better no matter how much encouragement and support you give them. It kind of freaks me out that he is back in town. I'd hate to run into him on the street.
I am SO bad. I opened all of my x-mas gifts early. So if you sent me a package marked "Do not open until the 25th" you are out of luck, because I am one greedy motherfucker.
So far I have gotten quite a bit of Sanrio merchandise and some lovely jewelry and stationery. I've also received some things that made me cock my head to the side like a confused puppy.
My best friend is gone for the holidays, no doubt wallowing in her own puddle of misery down in good ole Missouri. I miss her whiny voice and procrastinatory nature soooo much. Alley come home!!!
I spent a few hours downtown today, doing some last minute holiday shopping and a bit of people watching. I saw the most fabulous drag queen on the corner of NW Couch and 14th. She looked a bit bewildered that I was smiling so big in her direction.
I am having the most difficult time making girl friends. Anybody else have this problem? There are about five rad women who have given me their numbers over the past month, but I have developed this bizarre social anxiety about becoming friends with women. I can't seem to pick up the damn phone and call them. I wonder what we'd even do if we went out. What the hell would we talk about? My BF Alley doesn't count-she's more of an alien than a girl, anyway. We have a telepathic connection in an E.T. and Elliot way. I get to E.T. though.
Well, off to read, maybe with some chamomile tea.

Also, I must point out that Couch street is possibly the WEIRDEST NAME EVER! It is spelled like the beloved furniture item we all have come to love - however it is pronounced like the part of the female anatamy that is beloved by others...in two totally different manners....lol
Pfffft....don't complain to guys about having to call women...all you want is a friend - damn - I have to deal with calling women and I want to date them!

Annnnnnyway....I was actually very good about not opening presents until Christmas. Adrianne and I both kept watch over the presents to make sure Justin, Will and Adrian didn't get too grabby.
