Rehearsal was good. As I fully expected the piece are working on for our concert in February is going to mind-blowingly intense and beautiful. To clarify, I sing the chorus that sings in all Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra concerts. We do what is called The May Festival every year, but we also sing throughout the year as choral pieces are programmed by the CSO's music director, Paavo Jarvi.
I've had a bit of Local Stardom in this group, as I was a soloist a few years back in the last movement of The Creation by Haydn. I sang with the CSO in front of 3000 people and honestly? I've yet to have sex that felt better than that. Just being honest.
