Went to my formal class's senior prom last night. It was okay, I wore a pukey, but quite delightful, pink halter top dress. It was a bit poofy from the waist down with black lace trim on the bottom and tulle layer underneath that peaked under the lace. I found at the very last minute, a few hours before I had to leave in Kingston.
The prom itself was alright. It was pretty once you got to the area where we were all gathered, though you had to walk through the resturaunt, past the kitchen, to get there. I felt almost trashy walking in.. It was held at a steakhouse, of all places.
THE BEST PART was afterwards, at WAVE in New Paltz. Because I got to drink a little and do what I love doing best, dancing, and on stage no less. With probably the best looking guy there, with nothing but cut offs on. I felt absolutely beautiful, everyone kept complimenting on my dress and I got a season pass to go to Wave for free from the owner.
But now I'm sick, completely congested and my nose is stuffy. I've done nothing but sneeze and cough all day at work. And worst of it is my nose piercing is infected again. It's been giving me so much grief I'm tempted just to take it out.
