I guess it is time to give an update. I have been in Ireland for a bit. It was not a pleasant trip. I got a call on July 9th from my dad that my granddad wasn't doing too well and that it would be a good idea to come out and tie up all loose ends and say my goodbyes. So I flew out on the 10th and spent the next two weeks learning more about my granddad and what he is all about. It was incredable. He had seen so much and been through alot of crazy times. It made me think that my problems are really not that big at all. I couldn't have thanked him enough for that.

My granddad died in his sleep on July 19th. He did nothing but good deeds and had no regrets in life. He raised a good family and has accomplished many things. He taught me many of my morals and his memory will continue to guide me through life.

The last couple of weeks have been the strangest to me. I got a chance to face an old girlfriend that has been on my mind since the break-up. It brought up some old feelings of regret and depression, but I think I will get through it a little better than I did the last time. It has been a whirl-wind of emotion saying hello to new faces and saying goodbye to familier ones. I know there has to be some of yall out there who understand what I am talking about. It has been hard to keep up with anything until now. I have just been trying to get my life in order and figure things out.

On a lighter note; I have gone through a few changes. I have cut my hair and now have what I am told is called a "Fowhawk". It looks likea mowhawk except the sides of my head are not shaved. I will change my profile pic soon. While in Ireland I also had new art added to the harp under my arm. I will try to post pictures of that soon too. I think my attitude has changed a little bit too. I made a new promise to my dad and granddad to not drink again. Everyone here at home says I came back with a little bit of my granddad with me. I'm a little more mellow and quiet. I guess I can see it but I think that it is normal.

I hope everyone is doing good and I am looking forward to getting back into the groove of things around here.

P.S. I have been thinking about getting nautical stars tatttooed on top of my feet. I was wondering if anyone has had something similar done and can give me a good idea of the end result. Does it fade because its rubbing against shoes??? How bad does it hurt???

I have been so busy the last couple of weeks that my calander in my head is off by a week. It wasn't until I looked at my journal date that I realized that it was so latein the month. School starts soon...damn!
