Funny.
So on new years eve I post a poem I wrote for my ex-gf. That night, at The Pyramid (club) I ran into her. She had totally blown me off the last time she saw me. She was with the guy she dated before me. I have known him for like 10 years. A cabin friend. In any case, she was like "hey", and I was like "last time I saw you, you ignored me, and it sucked", and she was like "oh". Then we talked, and she was honest about how the time before when she saw me it had brought back all these old emotions etc. and when she last saw me "I was just being mean". So I forgave her. And me and her bf, my old buddy, made plans for hanging out at his cabin this summer and drank and she took a pic of us together. And it was awesome. I am so happy when you are right about someone, and you can't be angry at them, and you are all friends aftewards. I think people forget that this is possible. Especially with exs. But it is. Always. Don't be afraid of it. You can be close to someone, even when she broke your heart. People are made of stronger stuff than blood, sweat and tears. I know I am.
Awkward: crashing at my female friends house that night and then making out with her a bunch. I wish I could say it is the first time it has happened. Alternatively, friendship is damn weird.
