Well, I got my 'Thanks, but no thanks.' letter from Pixar in my email yesterday about the documentary team intern position I applied for. Considering that the position was supposed to be filled at the end of January, I guess it was a good thing it took this long for them to send me the letter.
Anyhow, it was my first time trying to get a job in such a position, with nary any experience beyond what I've done in school, so it really doesn't come as a surprise.
I need to figure out how to improve my demo reel.
Also, I'm supposed to interview Larry Utley for my documentary on Sunday, but he still hasn't contacted me about where and what time he'd like to conduct the interview. I need to remember to call him tomorrow, since I won't have any time on Saturday to do it.
