Day 4:
Not much to report on this day. Again, I stayed around the hotel, bought some groceries to eat at the hotel, wandered around the mall near the hotel and saw another dragon

and a dog with a broken nose.

Day 5:
I went to the La Brea Tar pits today. Something I've been wanting to do since I was little. I took photos of lions,

and wolves.

I thought I had taken a picture of a bear, but I guess I didn't. Anyway, there were also some interesting signs to read on top of the interesting bones to look at. Some signs were rather obvious.

Others were intriguing.

This one, I'm sure was supposed to be informative, but it just reminded me I needed to go and get some lunch.

Day 6
I went to Bar Sinsiter this evening and had some fun. They were having their Gothic Butterfly and Bats Ball. They wouldn't let me take in my camera so I didn't have any photos. I had some fun, though being a bit shy and introducing myself to complete strangers, it took awhile for me to start talking to some people so I could look for people who might be interested in participating in my documentary.

And I'm 95% certain that I completely missed being able to talk to Dita Von Teese about my project. This was for a myriad of reasons, but mainly:

1. My awkward shyness.
2. I didn't think it was really her until afterwards, when I found she actually is currently in LA doing some stuff.
3. The fact that everytime I happened to look in her direction, she would look me straight back in the eye.

I'm kicking myself for not taking the initiative (even to compliment her on looking like Dita, if she wasn't), especially when she walked past me at one point, touching my shoulder and looking me in the eye again with a smile. I just smiled back and gave her a nod and she kept on walking. :smacks self on forehead:

I also met Page, who was very nice and very entertaining, but was also rather full of tequila and may not remember our conversation.
