2021 was the year of chaos, shit in the world and many lockdowns but in my life it started a new chapter of hapiness.
2020 I was proposed to on a mountain top just outside of Banff Alberta. A top of a ski hill I looked at the stunning winter wonderland that laid bellow. Darren handed me a note and said read this. I wanted to put into words how much I love you. I read the note and tried so hard not to cry and freeze my tears but boy was it heartfelt. I finished, looked up and saw all these snow boarders stop and just stare at me. I was thinking what the hell are these kids doing then I turned around to Darren on his knee with a box in his hand.
That was the start of our journey of love.
We talked and decided to add one more to our family. As I am pushing 40 it was do it now or never.
I found out I was pregnant right before Christmas. I went into anaphylaxis and had to be rushed to the hospital. They told me I was pregnant and during a time where I almost died I found out the news.
I kept this to myself until right before Christmas and asked Darren if he wanted a early birthday present (he is a Christmas day baby). He opened the box with the test and we both cried happy tears.

We went to the darkside. I already had a daughter, my Arya Winter and now we have completed our last piece of the puzzle and added our little gent to the family.
Our son is huge. LOL right now he just turned 5 months but is wearing 12 months. I have a future linebacker for the Packers in the making.
He was born 3 weeks early. Our daughter told us when we put her to bed that her baby brother was coming and I laughed. I said no Arya, he's booked for 3 weeks (I needed a c-section because he was too big to deliver naturally).
Midnight I went into labour. Woke her up and she said ah see told you!.
Born with beautiful red hair and brown/honey eyes. I pray both stay.

AND NOW..............................
November 15, 2021 I married my best friend in Orlando. We rented a house with a pool, had both our parents and children present then headed to the Magic Kingdom to spend the day.
Life has been truly magical. I got my fairytale ending. 2020 my Best Friend came to my side to be there for me during a very hard time in my life.
He was my rock. He was everything I could ever wanted.
He is my soulmate, twin flame and partner for life.
I hope you enjoyed the story! It's a long one! But that's what I have been up to. I spent a year growing my family. Stopping time to enjoy the things that truly matter and now 2022 it's back to work.
