So the Calgary Comicon is just a little over a month away and I am already loosing my marbles.
I've got my weekend pass but they dont sell the meet and greets until two weeks before. TRUST ME... I've saved my pennies... ITS THE FUCKING LORD OF THE RINGS, HOBBIT, RL STINE, BRUCE CAMPBELL and HELL EVEN CARLTON FROM FRESH PRINCE!!!
Best part is they are not finished the announcements of guests yet. I keep praying to my LOTR shrine that Legolas, Gandalf or Aragorn is coming. I will die and go to nerd heaven if that goes down.
I've got my four costumes READY TO COSPLAY! This year I'm doing Black Widow (Avengers), Deadpool (Marvel's awesome Canadian Badass), Harley Quinn (Gothams Bad Ass BITCH) and ROGUE! I am so effing pumped because one of my besties got Miss Marvel, so were gonna do a shoot with Miss Marvel and Rogue because in the comics Rogue killed Miss Marvel and obtained her power of flight.
I'm gonna sweat my balls off, the Rogue costume is the old school yellow/green full body suit. YUP pairing that with my jumbo hooker boots and BAMN! I am ready for you comicon!
This was from Comicon two years ago. I met the one and only STAN LEE! He was the cutest guy EVER! We were not allowed to touch or speak and had to hand our stuff to his assistant who would put it in front of Stan. We were allowed photos so I snapped one while he signed and then he looked up at me and said "WAIT!!! I gotta pose for you!". I was floored! Stan then made my day by saying this comic was way too old for my age. I said Sir your flattering me! but that comic came out in 1980 (its the issue when the Phoenix MUST DIE) and I was born 1983 so I'm getting up there! He was shocked and said I was aging very gracefully! THANKS STAN!!!!
Last year Weta Workshop came to the Convention. I lost my freaking rocker! LOTR and the Hobbit are my fav books/films. So the fact I got to see actual pieces from the films brought a tear to my eyes. You can see I'm doing my super huge geek grin with Gollum. Anytime you see my insane neck muscles you know I am over excited.
I was Blondie from Suckerpunch and here I am with one of my ALL TIME fav characters THE WITCH KING. I actually squealed when I saw him at the Weta Workshop (You can see the workshop and Gandalf the white behind us). One day I will have your mask my friend.... one day......

I adore this newbie!!!! shes the little sister of my model Blake! When she applied and I sat down with the panel I never let them know that was his little sister. I did not want to change the opinion of the 10 models who made the votes on our five new additions. We are like a big family so I was thrilled that we have our FIRST EVER siblings on the site and FIRST EVER American Model! (shes coming out later this week).
Well back to the grind. My head is killing me today. I went to see Exes for Eyes last night and some Douchebag punched me in the side of the head... like right where my temple was so I woke up with one hell of a headache today. Who hits a girl? Like yeah I can hold my own in the pit but face punching is no fun for ANYONE.
