JTFC! I hate it so much! I spent my weekend moving out of my house into storage while we wait to get keys on my new house. I was so happy my brother in law was there to do all the heavy shit with my husband. You really never know how much crap you have until you have to move.
It was so cold that rubbermaid bins were EXPLODING. I was happy I wrapped the crap out of my breakables because everything went flying when that happened. Gotta Love Alberta hahahaa
I can't wait to get into the new place and change the paint colors. I bought a 2 story, 2,000 sq foot home with the most ugly wall colors imaginable. So my house is majority Country Bumpking Green. I grew up with this color in my folks house and I laughed when we looked at the place. Its the best layout that we wanted, had a fully developed basement, soaker tub and double car attached garage all things that were on my list of MUST HAVES in the new place.
I also gotta smudge the shit out of the house when we move too! The basement was a Crosby shrine. I am a die hard Wings fan. I am also superstitious with my team. Every game I have to sing the American National Anthem for luck. I also have a "flag dance" when my team scores. My friends think I am a weirdo and I could not stop laughing at Sarah Moon's reaction when we watched a game together a month ago.
We finished our shoot so I cracked us some beers and put the game on. It was a really intense one and Dougie was like "Babe do you think you can shut up long enough for me to order the pizza?". My reply "Yes of course".
So he is on the phone with Boston Pizza and Detroit scores to tie the game with 3 seconds left in the third and of course I loose my shit. I was jumping on the couches and screaming like a banshee. Sarah's face was HILARIOUS! I always tell people not to sit close to me when we watch the wings because I can cause bodily harm.
Dougie comes into the room and says well darling you were just mistaken for a fucking house party. I was like WHAT? he said BP's asked him if one large pizza and wings are going to be enough for the party going on. "No Sir, that is just my wife watching the Detroit Red Wings, shes a hockey nut".
Dani and I made it onto Noteworthy again on Zivity!!!!!! I adore this set we shot together. She is such a fox!!!!!!! We put this one into a contest too so I really hope we win!!!!!!!!
My lil Diva Furbabies hate the cold like I do! I am off to Maui this weekend and seriously counting it down. Its freezing in Calgary!!!!!!!!!!!!!
