I'm a ZOMBIE 
So last night I watched the last two periods of the Stanley Cup Finals. Congrats LA... well deserved! Quick was unreal this whole playoff run and Kopitar thank you for giving me points in my pool!. It always saddens me after the playoffs are done because now I have to go three months until I get to watch hockey again. NHL is my all time fav past time on TV. I really miss my Detroit Red Wings.. sniff.
So after I did some editing then jumped into bed and was woken up by the shaker next door. I live in a townhouse I own and I am ready to sell. These dumbass kids do nothing but party and do hard drugs to all hours of the day. They are 16!!!!!! What ever happened to being the rebel pot smokers? now I witness tweakers with meth and crack. I had no idea what that shit even was until my girlfriend was over for a BBQ and she told me when we got inside after grilling with epicure.. the kids were all in the backyard and doing what I thought was blazing and I was like why am I not smelling that delicious scent of marijuana? I had no idea that my friend spent time in rehab for a meth addiction until she talked about it at dinner and told me that is why she no longer hangs around the music scene. She can't be around cocaine because she was addicted to that and meth and spent time in rehab in our early 20's. Scary shit.
Now don't get me wrong.. I've had my fair share of bumping rails but I have never took it past a couple hits with friends at a show or house party. I've never ever seen meth or crack and I had no idea about it until she informed me of it. I am now afraid to live in my own house and waiting for these stupid kids to be hoped up on bath salts next.
So you want to know what I did??? I got up at 6:45am this morning... turned on my loud ass beater bar vacuum cleaner and put it on the walls to their bedrooms. Enjoy that noise for half an hour on a hangover.
COCK SUCKERS! okay there is enough for my rant today.
So I've been working like a mother of god. HA HA 6 days a week and every week I am taking on more and more clients. I also started renting out my studio space and lighting kit by the hour for money and I was shocked last night at this lady who rented it. First she called me for a quote to shoot models and a clothing line for her store. She is doing a website and I gave her a quote. Then she called back and said well I have a photographer and we just are going to rent it for the hour. No problem! I get paid to do nothing lol. So the photographer shows up I give her the run down of the Alienbees.. let them do their thing then I hear the photographer freaking out because he shots are not clear and my lighting system is crap. I went in there and said oh excuse me? did you need help!? what are your settings at on your camera? "What they are suppose to be" she rolls her eyes at me. I said okay well tell me what that is. Her Aperture was WAY off, shutter speed was way to slow and then her flipping ISO was at 3200!!!! it's assholes like this that give photographers a bad name. So I said to her pass me your camera. I changed them to the right settings for her. Then I never helped with another thing. If your too cheap for my services and hire a "photographer" with a SLR who has no idea what to do then that is your problem. She shot all the models sitting in chair!? Like these girls were over 6ft and in heels. Every single shot they are looking down at the floor! So when they left every single person there minus the photographer took my business cards LOL
So I wanted to share a photo. I ordered a custom coffin for a few sets for Hazzardous Material.
I don't think I can express how excited I am to have this prop. I've got two sets to shoot with it. The first I took a childhood song and I am turning it into a Hazzardous Tale and the other one is a multi-set with 5 models. EEEEK!
So I am throwing another Hazzardous Material Bash. July 14th at the New Black with two metal bands and never before seen art. These pieces I am going to auction off are one of a kind and you will own the only piece. I also really wanted to thank Dark Calgary for featuring me last week as the goth photographer of Calgary. I thought that was really sweet and nice to read.
