Another start to the week!
How was everyone's Easter? Did the Easter Bunny bring you goodies? It was sooo hard not to eat chocolate this weekend. You see I've got a wedding this year and I really want to look good in my wedding dress so I've been eating crazy healthy because I can't work out for another couple of weeks due to a fracture in my neck. I've been taking calcium pills everyday to strengthen my bones. I'm obviously not getting enough due to the two breaks I've had in less then six months.
So this weekend was pretty crazy. I went out with my buddies from high school and had a couple of drinks.. who am I kidding.. I was smashed. Corey fed me shooters galore and I was chocolate wasted lol. They laughed so hard because when I was in high school I was known for being able to drink loads. Drinking contests at parties were a breeze and I could slam better then men twice my size. So I had a total of four drinks and then 4 shooters and I was done. I don't drink that often anymore since I work most weekends. I do get to enjoy a couple of beers when I'm at home watching hockey but for the most part I'm at that age and most of my friends are married with babies so we just don't party anymore.
So I've been approached for two really wicked things. First.. I was called up by a old friend who is a high school teacher and they want me to come speak to the photography class about my work and my brand Hazzardous Material. I was jaw dropped because I've never been asked to do anything like this before. The Teacher thinks I will be an inspiration and push students to tap into their creative side. Secondly... I've been approached by a magazine to photograph an interview during my birthday weekend for a killer band. This is going to be very difficult because I've loved this band since I was a teen and it's going to be hard to keep it together. I'm proud to say that I will be adding KORN to my portfolio. They are the headliners at Boonstock and I'm lucky enough to capture this for the Edmonton Chapter of this online Magazine. It was funny because my birthday is on the Tues after the weekend and my sister is the wed... we've been celebrating our birthday's together our whole lives and this year we are camping for Boonstock. Which is going to be super hard because I am not much of a camper. I will camp for music though lol. My buddy KO is on the bill too so it will be fun to hang with a homie from T.Dot.
So I had my Brother in Law and his gf in the studio to do some Maternity Photos. I've got my first niece coming this July!
