I should really make little notes here and there so I didn't find myself scratching my head everytime I lay my fingers to the keyboard.
Same old same old and I don't want to go to work today, big surprise. It seems to be getting worse, or maybe it's just in my head. I try to avoid the people who stress me out the most, but I make the schedule and I think it would get found out real quick if I started to schedule myself all opposite shifts. Why do I care? Cause for some reason I care too much about the shit I shouldn't and not nearly enough about the things I really should. Weird how that works.
I've been waking up everyday to my hand being asleep, or well, much worse than that even, more like hot painful asleep hands, running from my elbow to my one finger. It's still numb as I type. This has been going on for quite some time. I'm becoming accustom waking up 3 times during the night to smack the feeling back into it, but when the feeling comes back, so does the pain. I was going to the chiro for it and it seemed to be getting better, but then I had to cancel a couple appointments and now I can't be bothered to make another one. Plus I was dropping 100$ a week there and someone needs to go see Metric in Otttawa this weekend. Pain vs. Pleasure, I'm sure I'm not the first one to pick the latter of the 2.
It's little boy Blue's birthday tomorrow, he will be one. I'm sure some of you remember the little kitten head he was from pics past, well he still is, his body just got a little bigger. He is most definitly the coolest cat I have ever encountered though. Of course I'm going to say that cause he's mine but he really is. I call him the canned lamb, and he answers to it. Why? Did you ever have one of those toys when you were a kid when you turned the can upside down and it make a animal noise? I did, and it sounded like a lamb drowning, that's what Blue sounds like when he meows. So happy b-day baby Blue.
So yes, this weekend, me, in Ottawa, seeing Metric! So very excited. One, cause I'm stoked to see Metric. Two, I love Ottawa, havn't been there since just after my wedding, should be a fun little road trip. I wish I had a few more days off though, being that close to Montreal, it's a shame not to stop over for at least a night, just to eat! Anyone else gonna be at the show???
