I love Dragonflies - they always look so big and fierce, but they're not really scary. I got one out of a Spider's web once, and it was quite happy to perch on my hand whilst it removed bits of web off it's legs, which I had not dared to touch, in case I damaged them. It stayed on my hand for about 25 minutes, maybe, and then flew off. It was a privilege to share personal space with such an alien creature - one that has remained pretty much the same, apart from a reduction in size, for about thirty million years. Does my head in, thinking about that...😘😘😘
