I recently watched a show on the Discovery Channel about the Science of Beauty. It was really interesting because it discussed mathematical features on what makes people attractive, where we look on the body, smell and everything...

I want to say it was Aristotle, but I know that's wrong... who said that beauty can be measured in measurements of 2/3-rds. Like our eyes should be eye length from each other... your face should fit that kind of spectrum.

Okay, regardless... I've been trying to determine my attractiveness and symmetry ever since seeing this program. I've come to the conclusion that I'm rather really pretty or really ugly. Of course, I could be average as well.

One of the main things that stuck out was that at an early age we're given a "number," which shows how others rank our beauty. We try to date within our number and more attractive than our "number." In high school, we had to rate our attractiveness on a scale from 1 to 10 (10 being the highest)... I gave myself a 5... the other person rating me gave me a 2. That person was a bitch.
