So, hello.

The move went really well. I'm still getting adjusted to being back in Kalamazoo, but it's going well. Some things haven't changed... but a lot has. I've come to terms with the fact that I probably won't be venturing to my favorite coffee shop at night by myself anymore... A LOT of creepers there.

I'm still looking for a job - but I have faith that I'll find something. I've been putting my applications in everywhere. According to a recent statistic, those in charge of giving me a job will be hiring 22% less college graduates this year then they normally do. A girl interviewed said that she has sent her resume to 400 different employers and still hasn't heard anything.... which kind of sucks. A lot. It's scary out there, you know?

Family wise - things are well. My parents and I dog-sat for one of my brothers... but the dog had its period - which kind of grossed me out. It was cute to see it in diapers though. Another brother (one that I don't get along with... difference in politics/he's a fucking asshole) is leaving for Iraq in the beginning of May. The last time I saw him was Thanksgiving (he lives 5 minutes away from my 'rents house) and he said, "I hope my kids are never freaks like you" and argued really stupid bullshit with me. Regardless, he is my brother... and I have to find the courage to make peace with him... I don't think I could ever forgive myself if we didn't clear the air... if something were to happen.

I do have some kind of good news, well something that I'm excited about anyways... A few weeks ago I joined the 1,000,000 Strong for Gay Marriage in Michigan on Facebook - and I asked the creator if I could help out in anyway... And I'm not the Admin and will be helping plan an event for Kalamazoo!!!!! It's a minor victory - but I'm well on my way to changing the world.

I promise.

I wish you well on your job hunt . I know it's rough out there.
